Highlights of 2012!

So, 2013 is on its way, it's been a year full of tragedy (Newtown School Shootings, Hurricane Sandy, Truth of the Hillsborough Disaster, Justin Bieber winning Artist of the Year 2012 AMA's), but also a year full of triumph (Felix Baumgartner's record breaking space jump, 2012 London Olympics, Curiosity's landing on Mars with the 'Sky Crane'). So, I thought to myself, 'I'm going to make a blog and post a couple of my top highlights about my 2012'.

So, here are some of my highlights of 2012! :

Kerrang! Relentless Tour! (Sunday 12th Feb 2012)

Ah yes, the 'Kerrang! Relentless Tour!' I recall was absolutely amazing, originally Sum 41 and New Found Glory were supposed to headline, but unfortunately, Deryck (the lead singer and guitarist of Sum 41) had slipped disks in his back, and was told it would be best for him to not perform so his back could heal, so instead of Sum 41, The Blackout filled in for them. I'll admit I was saddened by this, ( and I did slightly tear up and cry :'P ), but when it came to the night, The Blackout sang their own heavier version of 'Fatlip' and I couldn't resist but sing along. And New Found Glory were kick-ass as well! I sang my heart out along to them and their songs like: 'Hit Or Miss', 'My Friends Over You', 'All Downhill From Here' and their own versions of 'Blitzkrieg Bop', 'Basket Case' and 'Kiss Me' (by The Ramones, Green Day and Sixpence None The Rich). The other backing bands that performed (While She Sleeps, Let Live) were 'Screamo' something I don't listen to (I don't hate it, nor like it) but they did put on a good performance, along with The Blackout.

UMT Generator Music Course (Monday 6th Aug 2012 - Friday 10th 2012)

This music course I attended was simply amazing, I don't know how else to explain it. But we did make 'schweet, schweet music' as my friend Joe once before stated in his Herbert the Pervert voice. But it wasn't just about the music, I made some amazingly funny friends (a few in which also like Sum 41!) while being there, and we had hilarious moments together, for example, on occasions when we weren't making our magical music, me, my new friends Joe and Matt, and my other friend Rachael, would play this game called 'Bullshit' (most commonly known as 'Cheat') and gamble for gummy frogs (which Joe hilariously thought were gummy turtles).

We'd also eat our food outside, seeming as it was the summer and quite hot, and we'd have friendly food wars with other bands (my friend Rachael threw a bag of opened nuts off another band) and we'd all talk in Herbert The Pervert voices (although at the time I sounded like Mr Hankey The Christmas Poo off South Park, but my impression has yet improved).

But particularly, Joe and Matt, would talk in Herbert voices and say things to other younger bands such as:
  1. "You want a popsicle? My cellar's full of popsicles!
  2. "If it gets too hot and sweaty for you out here, feel free to take your shirt off"
  3. "I hope you don't find the money strapped to my thigh"
  4. "Get your fat ass over here"
  5. "Sweet Jesus"

In fact, there was this one young girl group with about 7 members in, and all of them 11 year old girls, which I felt bad for, as there was this hardcore guy, about 14-15, into bands like Slipknot etc.. and he had to play guitar for them! Poor guy, the majority of the group was okay, but, there were two girls in particular which were little bitches.

Yes, well as they were the biggest group, they got the main hall, and we were one of the smallest groups, with only 4 people, so we got moved from what we called 'the smelly room' for practice to the dressing practice room, which was right beside the hall, and also which had two doors. So we decided to mess with their heads.

Every two seconds, one of these annoying 11 year old's would storm down the corridor in a mood because they didn't get their own way, or if they didn't agree on something. So, we would set up our music gear, just in case we got caught so we could use the excuse "We were in the middle of practicing, but they kept on annoying us, so we told them off". Anyways, every time one of these little kids stormed down the corridor, one of us would go to one door at one side of the room, and another one of us would get at the other door and make noises each at a time, so every time one of the little kids turned around they got confused, unsure which door the noise came from. And one time, one of the staff at the music course, caught them wandering in the corridor confused, came into our room to ask what was going on, and we told him that they were interrupting and distracting us from our practice. We kept this up for 5 days doing this, and annoying them in general, singing and talking to them in Herbert voices, and we never got caught in the act once. Ninjas.

But the weirdest thing was, when it came to performing in front of everyone, each band needed two members to introduce the upcoming performance. And me and my friend Matt, were asked to introduce information about the course... and introduce.... that annoying girl group. And I was the one to read out all of their names... so many names.

But all in all, the music course was amazing!

And here is a picture of me making my debut as 'SpiderCowell' and a photo of Matt, in a silly hat (wow, that rhymes) playing Sudoku ^_^:

The Day I Got Given An Energy Drink And I Went Absolutely Apeshit Hyper.

Yup. Basically what the title says. I thought it was hilarious and it's definitely a school moment i'll remember.

Also, the other school day I got locked in the school toilet stall and thought it was absolutely hilarious.

Again. What the title says.

So basically, the top two were my only main highlights of 2012, I know it's only 2, but damn, I made some damn good memories there, and the last two I added for attempted comedy. Hey, maybe when I leave school i'll make a 'Highlights of School' blog?

And If I think of anymore highlights, i'll be sure to add them and update this blog all for your reading needs :')

Resident Evil... RESIDENT EVIL?! :D

I've felt like I haven't done a blog in a while, so I thought it's time to write one.

My holidays so far have consisted of doing nothing but eating sweets, going on the Internet, playing on my guitar and playing 'Resident Evil 6'. That's honestly all i've done since we broke up from school haha.

Speaking of Resident Evil, I've became re-obsessed with it, i'm not even joking. And i'll be completely honest with you, Resident Evil is what makes me want to be a cop, or in the army, or something that includes shooting weapons if I don't get through to music or photography (Ministry of Defense maybe?). Now, I know it's not what it's like in the games, but a life of action is for me :D.

Or maybe I just have a really bad urge to shoot a gun and went way over the top with the whole 'military' thing?...Anyways.

Yes, i've became obsessed with it, i've watched so many gameplay's of the series one including 'The Darkside Chronicles' (where you play as Leon and Claire and have to protect Sherry), unfortunately, you can only get it for the Nintendo Wii, which sucks, because i'd rather have it for Xbox.

On 'R.E: 6' you can actually play as Leon, (or his partner Helena) and for those of you that don't know, you can also play as Chris Redfield (or his partner Piers) and/or play as Jake Muller, a new character introduced into the game (or his partner Sherry Birkin). I've actually almost completed all the chapters... apart from 1... Ada Wong's chapter. I'm playing that now. I hate Ada Wong. Well, maybe not hate, but dislike.

Okay, I will admit, she is bad-ass character with some bad-ass fighting moves, and a bad-ass crossbow, but there's something about her character I dislike (even though she's fictional). And goddamn, LEON, Y U LUV HER?! U DESERVE CLAIRE NOT ADA, ADA LIE CLAIRE IS GOOD FRIEND!

Haha, I don't know what the hell just happened there but still.

Actually, I think I might watch the Resident Evil movies, i've got the first 4 on boxset, now I just need to buy the most recent one. The most recent one, (R.E: Retribution) was good, but it's my least favourite out of the 5, actually, here's my first favourite to my least of favourite movies in order.

  1. Resident Evil: Apocalypse (with Nemesis)
  2. Resident Evil: Extinction
  3. Resident Evil: Afterlife
  4. Resident Evil
  5. Resident Evil: Retribution
And also, I know there's only 2 computer-animated Resident Evil movies (Degeneration and Damnation) but i'd just say they're actually really cool too :D but out of them both Degeneration has got to be the best.

And that's everything that i've possibly got to write about, and Christmas! Christmas was great too, I had great fun, i'm grateful for the presents I got and i'm looking forward to new year!

*radio noise* Over and out!

Lil' Christmas Party.

This blog was intended to be published in school, but for some reason it wouldn't post, i'll also include what we done on Friday!

Thursday 20th December 2012

Typing this blog from up in school.

I'm in history right now, having a lil' Christmas party instead of working :D we're watching the movie '300' and we're allowed to eat sweets and drink fizzy pop, hell yeah! Looks like a promising lesson :')

Anyways, just came from double music, i've finally finished recording my lesson composition... after jamming along with my friends (Joe and Adam) along to 'All The Small Things', 'Holiday' and 'American Idiot'... yeah we got wrong for that because we were supposed to be working xD

Almost at the end of the lesson, I was recording ideas for my other composition for my coursework  (even though it's already done) and I was interrupted 3 times >:O once by sir, so I had to re-record it, second by the school bell, and the third time was by Adam. I was literally 10 seconds away from finishing the song, and he comes in the room and starts screaming his head off. So, I stopped the recording and chased him around the classroom about to smash his head in.

And that's what happened in music, ooh, and it's Christmas dinner next! Hope i'll be able to eat it all after all those malteasers i've chowed down :L

Friday 21st December 2012

Woohoo! We broke up from school today, we've only had 2 lessons considering we had Eucharistic (this ceremony in school in which you have to stand up and get blessed :L) and we finished at half 1, meaning we only had Science and Maths.

Science was a bore, we have 2 science teachers, one is really awesome, the other is really boring and yells at you constantly. Well, we had the really boring one. All the other classes that had science the same time as us were doing fun things such as making silly putty, and here we were sitting there doing work in booklets to prepare us from an exam in freaking March.

Then, after break we had Maths which actually wasn't that bad, we were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and we either sat there talking or coloured in xD it wasn't too bad.

And that's what happened over the two days.

My Conscience Is Good.

Went out somewhere today (I can't remember where) and look what I got! :D

Damn, you don't know how long i've spent looking for this New Found Glory CD and the Blink-182 Dude Ranch CD, literally, months I have been wanting these. And since it was 2 for £10, I bought Blink's self titled album too ( as the NFG album I bought separately in another shop ).

I also gave money to the Gracehouse Appeal and to a musician playing on the streets, he had an amazing singing voice and was really good at playing the guitar, so I couldn't resist but give money. My conscience feels good :)

And some little fucker threw something towards me and it stuck to my jacket, so I threw it on the floor, only then I found out it was a bomb-bag and it exploded on the floor, so I turned around and yelled at him and his little chav friend... really, really loud.

Yeah I have a hot temper.

El PingĂș and why you SHOULD play with photobooth!

Thursday today, for once it's been a boring Thursday, kind of. Music was fun, but not as fun as it usually is because 2 of my friends were off. The only fun thing about music is that I recorded my solo piece 'Dani California' by Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass, but I have to do it again after this term because I got a few things wrong, but other than that, my teacher said it was really good and I performed in confidently :)) .

Dani California Music Video Screenshots

The other fun thing about music is after I recorded, I went into another recording room with my friend Adam (whom was supposed to be recording but left it until last minute) and basically, we messed on with a bongo drum and were being idiots in general. He also showed me a video of him jump-kicking a door and falling over, as well as him showing me a video of having a metal cup that he owns, lit with flames inside and he claimed it to be the 'Goblet Of Fire' from Harry Potter. Yeah right.

...Then when the teacher came in, and asked me:

"Rachel, have you done your other recording"
"Uh, yeah, I think"
"Can you show it to me?-"
"OH WAIT OH CRAP I HAVEN'T"

*conversation actually went like that no joke*

And then I had to do my other recording of some shitty melody composition I made up in last weeks music lesson I was supposed to finish. Were we recording my melody on the schools Ipad's they own, and it just so happens that the Ipad's have an app called 'Photobooth'

And Photobooth + students = a bad, idiotic, yet hilarious idea!

Basically, what Photobooth is, if you don't know, is an app where you can take photos of yourself in various funny effects, such as warping your face etc...

Later on, since me, Kenny and my other friend Nikita, all had to record at lunch, we got into the dinner hall late. But as we eventually got in, our head of year made his way towards our table, looked at my friends' sandwich and said: "That looks like a you lost the game sandwich". Well, my friends play this thing called 'The Game', and I absolutely hate it, it's so annoying. Well, these are the rules:

'Rule 1: You are playing 'The Game'.
You, along with everyone else in the world, always is, always has been,
and always will be playing The Game. Neither awareness nor consent is required to play.

Rule 2: Every time you think about the word: 'The Game', you lose.
Loss is temporary; as soon as you forget about these words: 'The Game' you stop losing.
The objective of The Game is to forget that it exists. Good luck.

Rule 3: Loss of 'The Game' must be announced.
Every time you think about The Game, and hence lose, you must say so.
This is the only rule that can be broken, but do you really need to cheat..?'

And that my friends, is the game.

Anyways, back to my story. Now my friends associate 'The Game' with the word 'Penguin' (I don't know why they just do'. And Kenny yelled 'Penguin' to our head of year, and was mind-fucked as he had no idea what she was talking about. And proceeded to tell us that 'PingĂŒino' means 'Penguin' in Spanish, as he's a Spanish teacher. And Kenny said she thought it was going to be 'PingĂș' hence the title name 'El PingĂș'.

And that is it for today my friends!

Skyrim Style!

S'up guys.

Got nothing much to write, but i'll try to type as much as I can!

Anyways, weird day today, had two trips around the school to my friends' lockers because they both wanted their jackets as we were doing outdoor PE. So, to make the adventure more interesting me and my friend Lor, decided to sneak around the school, 'Skyrim' style. Let me elaborate, basically, I was sneaking around thinking I was some sort of ninja assassin, and Lor was doing barrel rolls down every corridor we walked through.

On the other hand, earlier on I just had a sudden urge to write a song. Strange feeling but it needed to be done, and my friend Lor advised me to write a song about being a glitter fairy (as I got covered in a shit-load glitter twice in the space of one week). So I turned the glitter fairy into a fictional character for my song (and she's not based on me :P ) and made her like a guardian figure. But it's just a silly one-off type of song, nothing serious.

And from that silly song, i'm currently making a proper song using the same guitar chords, obviously i'm changing the lyrics but i'm quite excited! :D

And that was my day.

Beamish Adventures!

Just gotten back from Beamish, I had an amazing time.

First of all, for my friends reading this wondering 'but you said you never wanted to go in the first place', i'm always like that. I say i'm not looking forward to a certain event, get forced to go, and when I do go I end up enjoying myself.

Back to Beamish.

I knew it was going to be funny, because as soon as I stepped out of the car, I stood on this patch of ice and I began slipping all over the place. I thought I was going to fall over, I was literally on the verge from falling backwards, but I managed to regain the ninja inside me and stealthily land on my two feet on dry ground.

Anyways, It was amazing seeing how people would traditionally celebrate Christmas! They also put on a play of 'A Christmas Carol' and the actors were really good, it wasn't on a stage though, it was in the streets and in the display houses. My sister was shitting herself at the actors, especially Ebenezer Scrooge, she started crying bless her, but oh my god it was funny.

I also tried my first roasted chestnut, and I must say it was quite delicious! And I also tried warm punch, which I thought I wouldn't like because it smelled weird, but it turns out it was really nice!

The bus drives were funny as well, since they were old-fashioned type buses they had the bus attendants (or whatever the proper name for them are) that stood outside the door as it was driving. One of the dudes was hilarious, as the bus began to move he yelled 'To infinity and beyond!' acting as if he were Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, and he was just being extremely amusing in general, the whole bus was laughing. It was brilliant because on the bus back to the entrance he was there as well, he was really a nice guy!

Basically, we hiked almost all over Beamish, and before we left we managed to visit the gift shop, where my older cousin (who's just like a big child in some sense) picked up a lamb animal puppet and began having a puppet war with me, so I picked up a pig puppet and we fought to the death. Unfortunately, my cousin won.

And that was just a small clip of my day out at Beamish.

Quote of the day (this time it's not a song) :

*earlier at school*
My friend Shay: Can chickens fly?
Me: Of course not you idiot.
Shay: Well they can.
Me: Okay, so when have you ever seen a chicken flying in the sky above your head?
Shay: OKAY, SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU EVER SEEN 'CHICKEN RUN'?!
Me: *burst out in hysterics laughing my girl balls off*
Keith (sitting beside me) : *laughing his guy balls off*

Nothing to do with the subject but I thought it was quite funny :')

Snow Days!

Over the past two days it's been snowing in school, you know what this means? SNOWBALL FIGHTS! :D

Almost every student in the school has been outside participating in the snow, including me and my friends.

Particularly me and my friend Lor (TheTomboysLife), we were creeping around with loads of snowball ammunition in our hands as if we were on Call Of Duty or Battlefield. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hit many people because my aim is really shit unless i'm up close. However, I did manage to scrub my friend Cherry (nickname) in the face with snow, I managed to get my brother on the leg, hit my friend Jay twice after he failed to hit me.... and I also made my friend fall over, not by tripping her up, but by throwing a snowball. She avoided the snowball, and since she was on kinda of a bank, she fell on her arse xD me and Lor were laughing our heads off, it was too funny, and later on she fell over once again.

Also, we chased after this guy (Me, Lor and all of the lads that play football) and went to just surround him and through snow at him. But we then thought it was sly and possibly bullying so we ended up not going after him. It was funny seeing him absolutely leg it though, you couldn't deny it!

I too, got surrounded today by the lads that play football in the courts, my friend Keith scrubbed me, and snowballs were just flying everywhere around me, Jay said "You guys are so nice for ganging up on a girl like". To be honest, I couldn't care, hanging around with lads is so much fun, it gives you more of a challenge, than when you're around prissy girls. Sorry if I seem like i'm being sexist, I don't intend to, it's the way i've grown up by personal experience, i've always been around boys playing football and other sports and such, and none of the girls (with the exception of a few) have ever been into that. I will say though, not all girls are like that, not many of the ones I hang around with anyway :)

Back to what I way saying :P even though Jay said:  "You guys are so nice for ganging up on a girl like", they all pelted me with snow anyways. My friend Tyler, picked up a huge chunk of snow (literally huge) and threw it at me, fortunately, my beanie protected my head and it went down my jumper and down my shirt onto my skin and it was freezing, still funny though!

Think i've stressed enough how much I love snow.

Getting onto another subject, I had double music today since it's Thursday. Well, it was quite action packed, my friend Adam hid my guitar up some stairs that lead to the stage in the hall. He switched off the lights and closed the door as I was on my way up so it was pitch black, you couldn't even see your own hands in front of your face it was so dark. But I managed to get out, so then Nikita and Kenny went up, managed to retrieve my guitar, and just as they got down sir walked into the room. He didn't yell but he did raise his voice (I didn't get in trouble :P ) and Kenny was pissed. Speaking of my guitar and getting pissed off, I went to collect it before I left school, I must have waited ages outside the music room for Sir to come and unlock the door, in which he never came, so i'll have to get it tomorrow >:L

Anyways, before that me and Kenny were discussing how we're going to Beamish tomorrow with some of my family and my older cousin for christmas. At first I didn't even want to go, but considering my older cousin is going, I always have a fun time with her :D

Jay said he was inviting himself along too, I was like:

Me: No you're not haha.
Jay: Who are you going with?
Me: 'Kenny', and some of my other family like my older cousin.
Jay: I'm going with yous like.
Me: Well, you're not :P

And that's my day in a nutshell... a very big nutshell.

Song quote time! :D

And make it last forever.
And no matter what I get tonight,
I want more."

Ooh chocolates :3

I don't have much to write about, honestly, nothing much interesting has happened in my life since I last blogged (which was on the 29th of November I do believe) but I wanted to write something because A] i'm kinda bored and because B] I just felt like writing one.

Anyways, today is the 3rd of December therefore I got to open my 3rd cardboard door on my Spongebob advent calender, and as always there is a little chocolate surprise, ooh yummy! :D

This is probably one of the smallest blogs i've done but I really wanted to write something, I assure you, if I remember anything good that's happened, i'll update and write about it! Promise! :))

Ambushed!.... by a door.

Surprisingly, the week has flown by! Usually it drags until Thursday, so life must be feeling extra nice towards me today (sort of).

Anyways, yes today is Thursday which means... double music 1st and 2nd lesson woo! Music was actually really good today, much better than usual. We done something productive for once... we went on xylophones.

*actual xylophones we had in school*

I know it may sound boring to you, but it was quite amusing. We were making up our own melody's and presenting them and stuff.

And for some reason during the lesson, me and my friend Jay were silently laughing our heads off. I don't even know why like seriously, he just looked up to me and was laughing his balls off, which set me off laughing. As far as I know, we weren't laughing at anyone's melodies or mistakes, we were just purely laughing. I think it was because 2 of my other friends (Joe and Adam) got sent out of the lesson, and they seemed pretty pissed off about it because they were messing on with the keyboards. I don't really know :P

After double music, it was break, met up with my friends whom I usually hang around with and as I walked up the stairs, a double door ambushed me from behind and the metal handle smacked off the back of my head. It really fucking hurt.

So off I went to the medical room... after break ended.

Okay, i'll admit, I exaggerated it just so I could get sent home (which never happened F.Y.I.) to avoid ancient history because lately my teacher has started being a dickhead towards us, so the office rang my mam. I waited for almost an hour in there just to find out i'd only get sent back to lessons again. And guess what? The teacher wasn't even in, we had a supply.

I only knew the supply for about 15 minutes and she was so much more nicer than the actual teacher himself. And we also had her for Art last lesson as well, which was quite fun!

Also, our school keeps chickens and I saw them up close... they kept on getting closer to me.

And that was my day!... my painful, amusing day!

~RachLaDudette

ALSO! The other day I got a full tube of green glitter thrown all over me by one of my friends' younger cousins. It was quite funny actually, so now I am known as the 'Glitter Fairy' by some of my friends :P ....... just thought that would be an interesting story to share :)

The Sage

Off to The Sage soon, in fact, i'm picking my friend up it precisely 15 minutes. It should be good. The blog is short for now, but as soon as I come back i'll promise to update :D

And the cream I got worked, that darn spot id finally gone! Woohoo!

~RachLaDudette

Update!:

Well, The Sage was really good! The conductor, believe it or not was quite the comedian, and the orchestra was really good. They played Jurassic Park, and I was over the moon when the did. The conductor got us (the whole audience) to yell "5...4...3...2...1... Thunderbirds are go!" before they played the Thunderbirds theme tune. And at the end they played 'Ghostbusters' and got us all to take part singing.

I wouldn't really listen to orchestral music, but since it was sci-fi themed, I quite enjoyed it!

Aaand there's my update! :3

Match Days

Been to the Sunderland vs West Brom match today with my Auntie, my older 2 cousins and one of their boyfriends. I had a good time, but very disappointed at the score 4-2 to West Brom.

It's hilarious hearing the men yelling their heads off, calling the players. This man standing behind me was swearing all the way through the match insulting one of our players Adam Johnson. To be honest, he wasn't playing very good, he kept on giving the ball away, but oh my god it was hilarious hearing this mans booming voice screaming his top off.

At the end of the match we decided instead of walking along the seats, we would climb down them because it was quicker. My auntie didn't realize how steep the step was and fell on the guy in front of her. Fortunately she wasn't hurt, and instead she was hugging the guy for like 10 seconds straight. I was laughing my head off whereabouts my cousin was so embarrassed. My auntie couldn't of cared less either and the guy was laughing too. Ah, the joys of football matches.

Looking forward to tomorrow as well, as you know i'm going to The Sage in Gateshead for a sci-fi odyssey. Unfortunately this spot on my lip is still here, my mam went out and bought some cold-sore cream and its supposed to be applied 5 times every day every 4 hours, and it doesn't look as bad as it did this morning :L hopefully it'll reduce by tomorrow night. Or i'll just have to go to my final dreaded resort and wear..... make up eurgghhhhh.

Instead of the usual song quote, let's put just a few quotes from the guy standing behind me swearing his head off:

"Well done Johnson, you're doing great, keep it up! You fucking useless twat..."
"Johnson man, what the fuck are you doing?!"
"Show your fucking dedication"
"Johnson you bastard what are you doing man!"
"OH FOR FUCKS SAKE"

And this is why I love football matches! :D

~RachLaDudette

UPDATE:

Oh my god, Cone McCaslin and Todd Morse's side band, 'The Operation MD' re-tweeted me on twitter, oh my god. Fangirling. My idols recognize me. I love Cone. Todd is amazing. Ahhhhh >.<

I should be used to this I get quite a few RT's from the people I look up to. BUT STILL.

Look at Cone's perfect blue eyes and black spiky hair, look at Todds amazing brown eyes OH MY GOD.

Welcome to... Jurassic Park!

Freaking finally... it's friday!

I've had this spot on my top lip that just flared up on Wednesday and it's done my nut in, seriously, all day during lessons I had to hide my mouth it was just so embarrassing. I even put on some concealer my friend lend me, and i'm not one to ever put make-up on (eyeliner is acceptable though). I put TCP on which had a burning sensation on my lip, I know it's good for it but I had to wipe it off. So instead I put a warm cotton ball that was soaked in water to open it up and I carefully squeezed most of the white crap out and immediately put Sudocrem on.

It better not still be on my lip on Sunday because i'm going on a trip with my music class to The Sage in Newcastle to watch an orchestra play a sci-fi themed performance. They'll be playing the themes to 'Lord Of The Rings', 'Doctor Who' 'Star Wars' and 'Jurassic Park' etc..

I know its a spot and it's normal for a teenager to get them, but it's just so horrible and it feels weird when you're talking or eating >.<

Oh, and... I fucking love Jurassic Park, seriously, I used to own the books, games and I still own the DVD's of it. AND OHMYGODTHEREMIGHTBEANEWJURASSICPARKMOVIEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

It's Finally Arrived!

I've been waiting for this day for 4 months now!

When I first started my blog (about 4-5 months ago) I made a couple of posts about this music course I was going to at the time, well, I went with my mate and became friends with a few guys so we decided we would be a group.

Being in a group with these guys was awesome, for the 5 days we attended this course, all we did was write, play music, gamble for gummy turtles (or frogs, whatever they were :P) and talk in Herbert the Pervert voices. And we eventually got to record this song we made and also performed it live.

This happened all the way back in August, and it's only arrived today, yeah, sure the album only has 5 tracks on it but still, and the sound quality isn't brilliant either (because all the instruments were recorded together instead of separately) but still! It's an achievement in my life to have an original song on an album.

Our song 'Peace and Quiet' isn't something i'd particularly play or listen to as it leans towards the indie genre than rock/punk, but I enjoyed playing and recording it, and had an awesome time all together, and that's what really counts!

Aaand I hope it doesn't sound as if i'm boasting, i'm honestly not, i'm just so darn excited.

Damn, I miss hanging around with those dudes!

' Mam: You'll have to keep that album one day so when you're famous you can show your fans your earlier work ' :))

Stand Up To Bullying.

Today has made me extremely peed off.

You all know I hate chavs with a passion, and you all know I hate posers and people that act all hard when they can't even stand up for themselves etc...

You may have read another one of my blogs a week back or so and you probably read what happened on November 5th, if not i'll explain further.

On November 5th one of the chavs in our school headbutted one of the girls that hangs around with us in the face, and made her teeth and everything because she misheard what she said and thought she was insulting her.

Well, only just today, the chav scum that she is attacked her again. My friend must have felt a little down in the dumps (or so she seemed) and went inside by herself. At the end of dinner the next thing I know is people are coming up to me saying that the chav attacked my friend and punched her all over full force in the face. The nurse's wouldn't even let us in the medical room to ask our friend how she was, but people saying she was crying. She also had to go to hospital because of them.

I don't like getting involved in things that doesn't concern me, because I really couldn't give a shit. But if a chav thinks they have a right to go around attacking people they don't like, I will stand up for them and say what I have to say. And I couldn't give one damn if they disagreed with me and if I ended up getting hurt. If my friends or family is getting hassled I will take a stand and stick up for them because I couldn't give one shit if they thought bad of me.

Chavs are just bullies, the whole lot of them and they deserve to be put in their places if they think it's acceptable to go around making people's lives hell just because they don't like them. Heck, I hate most of the people in my school but I don't go around punching them.

And if they're reading this right now and think it's hilarious. You're a waste of the human population and deserve to have nothing good in life unless you redeem yourself, and I don't care whether it's harsh or not. Now go do your drugs, talk like uneducated cunts and see where you end up in life, I dare you. Because you'll probably end up nowhere living on the streets with no jobs asking other people for money. And why should they be helpful to you when you've got nothing helpful to offer other people with? Hm? You think about that.

And if YOU'RE reading this right now and are being bullied (whether its people calling you, being nasty to you over the internet or texts etc...) Please, please take a stand, tell a teacher, tell a parent, tell a friend. Tell anyone you can trust. And if you feel like you can't trust anyone, you've always got these blogs to read over and hopefully I bring humor, happiness and courage to you.

Remember! If someone is making you feel uncomfortable or hurting your feelings in general, it is classed as bullying. It doesn't matter what age you are, or your ethnicity etc... it's still bullying!

Bunsen burner + pyromaniac + my work sheet = bad idea.

Got a few things to blog about what's happened in school, so here ya are:

Monday 12th November

Bunsen burner + pyromaniac + my work sheet = bad idea.

So, on Monday, 2nd lesson. We were doing a practical science experiment, about the 'limestone cycle'. I paired up with my buddy Keith, and well... sometimes he doesn't have any common sense. Here's why:

The 1st stupid thing: He almost set his hair alight. Yup, he done what you just read. Well, he went to light the Bunsen burner, and as it reached the gas, the flame kinda flew up on the tip of his fringe (he has slightly long hair) and singed it. It reeked... And that's what you get when you light a Bunsen burner almost directly over your head.

2nd stupid thing: Keith thought it would be a good idea to make a flamethrower out of the Bunsen burner, and switch on another gas tap. Let's just say it didn't exactly turn out well, and he set my sheet on fire.Yes, he set it on fire. My sheet with instructions on just so happened to be beside the gas tap, one second i'm asking my friend something about the experiment, the next second I turn around to see my worksheet in flames.

We almost shit our duds, in a panic he punched the paper and managed to quickly get it out. It was burnt to a crisp. And then the next thing I know, the teacher walked by asking what happened and Keith made the quick excuse of "I don't know, it must have been too close to the Bunsen burner because it just somehow set on fire" the magical thing was the teacher believed him and he got away scott-free. Crafty bastard.

After knowing each other since fetus' in our mothers womb's. He's still unpredictable.

Wednesday 14th November (Today)

Everyday at break and dinner about 30 chavs (literally, i'm not even exaggerating) go outside behind a building called 'B-Free' and have their daily smoke. Well, the teachers usually walk around there near the end of break to round them all up. But not this time though... well, not exactly.

One of my previous RE teachers decided it would be a good idea to sneak up and chase them all at the beginning of break. But the way he done it, was highly amusing.

He decided to creep carefully around the the teachers car park like a professional ninja, and when he got near the building, he ran like Speedy Gonzales. The next thing you heard was: ' QUICKLY! THE TEACHER IS COMING!" and within the click of a finger, all the smokers legged it as fast as they could inside just to avoid him. It was hilarious.

.

Me and my mates, including some of the lads that play football near us couldn't stop laughing. Seriously the teacher is as tall as a tree and he claims to have seen 'Slipknot' in concert. It couldn't get any better. And seeing him run like Olympian just added to the amusement.

It was like a crossover of 'Mission Impossible' and 'James Bond', 'twas truly funny. Lor (thetomboyslife.blogspot.co.uk) explained how hilarious it would to blog this, so here you are :))

Amazing Relations

The title isn't as boring as it sounds, seriously.

We had a early remembrance day today, well, early remembrance silence at least. They played 'The Last Post' at the beginning of the silence, and I almost cried haha. Seriously, my Granda (whom used to be in the army before he left) used to take part in the remembrance parades, but it's not just that, all those that died did it for our country. Without them I probably wouldn't be writing this today.

It was quite disrespectful as a girl sitting at my table in science started laughing during the silence, apparently she laughed the year before as well.

I've been meaning to buy a poppy all week but kept on forgetting to bring in a donation. So I brought some in today only to find they were all sold out, though I asked if they had any and they said 'yes'.

Anyways, on Sunday (actual Remembrance Day) i'm going to attend a Remembrance Day memorial, like I have for the past 2-3 years, but this year i'm going down to Seaham. My cousin Kenny is doing a parade down there with the Air Cadets she attends, but I also wanted to go to one of their memorials this year instead of the usual one. Might see some of my relatives attending it too, most of my male relatives that live in Seaham served in the army, or some sort of services.

My Dad told me one of my Uncles was in the SAS, he was a soldier taken as a war prisoner in Angola (but survived), worked with the Brunei Royal Family, was a body guard for the Sultan of Brunei and was involved in so much more. His name was Alfred Tasker. He is mentioned in the 2008 book SAS Heroes as a Remarkable Soldier, Extraordinary Men.
Cannot believe I am related to this man whether it's distant or not. You can read more about him here: Wearide Heroes: A Life Of Adventure In The SAS

Obama Likes Blink-182

Yeah the title has nothing to do with the blog, but just a fun fact for you there :)

I was going to blog last night but I forgot! So i'm going to write about yesterday and today, all in one blog.

Monday 5th November 2012

So, yesterday was bonfire night. It was also the first day back to school after a weeks holiday. We had a Science Biology Exam, it was quite easy and hopefully i'll get better marks than I did on the mock test, in which I got a measly 'E' grade on. I didn't find the test hard either, dafuq.

It was an action packed day as well, seems that this chav (that we all hate) came up to one of the girls that hangs around with us and headbutted her. Literally, full-forced headbutted her. Her gums started bleeding and everything. I went off it at her, seriously. Like full on force yelling. You can't just go round headbutting people because you think they've insulted you. And ha'way man, you there's a chance you can give yourself / the other person brain damage.

Chavs, they have absolutely no intelligence whatsoever and have no consideration for anyone but themselves.

Anyways, final thing about my day yesterday is I went to Beamish Museum for Bonfire Night, it was amazing. Love watching fireworks, looks like space is exploding in front of your eyes. I swear, if that is what the end of the world looks like, that would be a damn good last sight for you to see.

Tuesday 6th November 2012

Today was alright I suppose, apart from we had another science test (but just to test what we remember, it doesn't affect our grades, reports or anything) only answered about 15 questions, most people did anyways...

And then we had a test in history :L christ, 3 tests within two days. Welcome to Year 10 and 11, guys.

And that concludes both of my days haha.

Are You F****** Kidding Me?!

S'up guys.

Have you enjoyed your week? How has your day been today? Oh, you want to know what i've been up to, okay then.

Nothing exciting... i've just been sitting up in my room almost all day doing damn homework and still have loads to do.

Oh I sure do have an exciting life. I guess it is kinda my fault for not doing it earlier on during the week, but who wants to do homework during holidays? Instead of homework, you want to be hanging out with your friends or playing on video games or some shit. Something stress-relieving.

Right now i'm writing in my 'Music Composition Log' about what i've achieved over the weeks. I hate writing so much, and it doesn't help because after me writing in this log, I have to answer questions in a sheet that very much resembles an exam test paper that has 21 pages inside. Fuck my life, man.

C'mon though, the whole point of holidays are to relax and get away from work / school. Not to go to school, do almost six hours of non-stop work and come back home with more work to complete. No wonder so many people hate school so much.

And made it so I couldn't decide.

Unable to respond to the beautiful world,
 That goes on and on.
 And on and on."

Aaaaand I have a Science test first thing tomorrow morning that I need to revise for. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Hi guys, just got my hair cut, it doesn't look totally different but it looks much nicer finally got rid of all those split ends and annoying flicks. Hopefully i'll be able to remember how the hairdresser styled it!

It'll be tough for me to write this blog as other than me getting my haircut and going through to my Nana's for dinner, it's been a boring day. And I didn't do anything this morning as I woke up at quarter to 11 but didn't get out of bed till 5 past because I stayed up late.

I stayed up to watch The Walking Dead I recorded. Holy shit it was amazing! Best episode so far in my opinion, but I won't give you any spoilers ;)

Short blog but still.

I missed Halloween :((

Very upset because I didn't get to celebrate Halloween this year like I usually do :'((

So, i've been watching Ghost Hunters and playing Skyrim almost all day instead haha! Hopefully i'll be attending my family's Halloween party next year, it sucks not being able to do anything this year.

And that's what my extremely boring day has consisted of...

But to brighten up the night i'm watching South Park, it's my favourite, man!

Practicing

Hola my hard rocking amigos!

Right no (apart from writing this blog) i'm practicing for my solo GCSE bass piece, my printer unfortunately ran out of ink beforehand, so my dad had to put the music on his USB Drive and take it into work to print off, so thanks dad!

And this song better be good enough for my music teacher because he said it may be limited (e.g repetitive) which most bass lines usually are (not all of them). I wanted something more challenging than I usually play, that can enhance my skill but is still fairly moderate yet can overall get me a good enough grade. So I choose 'Dani California' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I like the song, like the band and believe it or not, I like playing funk music, or anything with a funky-type bass line. And figured this ought to get me a good enough grade.

Back to my music teacher, I actually saw him in town the other day while I was out with my friends. He looked like he was coming from this new donut shop that's just opened. Went to the revision class at school, I learned nothing, everything the teachers covered we already knew... what a waste of what could have been a possibly good day really.

Let's stop talking about musical problems now, shall we and get on with the rest of the day? Yeah okay.

Well, I went to my revision class today and it was shit. Learned nothing new, everything the teachers covered we all knew (which is good in some aspect), but I expected to learn more (lol swat). Anyways, we were allowed to leave early after dinner and I was outta there straight away.

And that was my day :3

The after party!

Just gotten back from my friends fancy dress birthday party, had an awesome time, singing along to music, eating, listening to music and dancing! So happy birthday Nikita, hope you've had a good 15th because I have sure had a good time!

Early Blog!

Pretty bored right now, so early blog today guys!

Woke up to see the funniest thing on my twitter timeline today... a picture of Deryck Whibley (lead singer of Sum 41) and his girlfriend Ariana Cooper dressed up as Avril Lavigne (Deryck's Ex-Wife) and Chad Kroeger.

Hmm, what do you guys think of this, do you think there's a hint of jealousy from Deryck as Avril is engaged to Chad now? Or do you think it's just a friendly piss-take? Sources say that when Avril and Deryck divorced, they remained friends.

Anyways.

It's my friend's birthday today! Happy Birthday Nikita! And to celebrate, we're going to have a fancy dress party at her house. I'm going as a Pirate, arghhhh! *failed Pirate impression*

Other than that, i'm going to be doing nothing, which i'm actually quite looking forward to as since Friday i've been busy and tomorrow i'm going to a revision class in school to revise for a science exam we have first day we go back to school... which also happens to be bonfire night.

I'll probably write another blog at the end of the day after the party, so I won't put a song quote in like I usually do!

Cheerio!

Birthday Snow!

As I type this, it's snowing where I live. Absolutely buzzing because I love the snow, like really love it! And it's only October as well, never really starts snowing until end of December / the beginning of January.

On the other side of life, I went to town with my friends today in early celebration for my friend Nikita's birthday, ended up buying 'By The Way' (Red Hot Chili Peppers album) for £2 in HMV, a ball closure earring and a Sum 41 shirt that i'm still freaking buzzing about :P

We also went to McDonalds where I ended up buying a 20 chicken nugget meal... I need to learn to stop buying them though because I can never eat it all :L

We all had a really good time, and i'm going over my friends house again on Sunday (her proper birthday) and we're having a fancy dress party, i'm going to go as a pirate YAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ME MATEYS!

:P

California Rest In Peace!

Finally, off school for a week!

But I still have homework to do. Like 4 big pieces, two of which include doing a 20 page test :L Then my Art, research about an artist, then write about what I done in lesson. And last but not least music homework, finish my class work, choose (and practice) what I want to do for my solo performance and come up with composition ideas.

I already know what i'm going to do for my solo performance, 'Dani California' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers off their album 'Stadium Arcadium', I just need the sheet music for the bass, then i'll learn it. The deadline isn't until December 14th, but the earlier and longer I practice, the more accurate and better grade i'll get.

And I know what i'm going to do for my musical composition, it's the song I was telling you guys about in my blog 'Writing Songs' . I've got the bass and the guitar worked out completely, I think i've got a potential chorus, all I need to do is to figure out the drums, the rest of the lyrics, figure out a title, and then... BAM! IT'S FINISHED!

As i'm primarily as bass player, i've focused more on the bass to make sure it doesn't sound too boring, which is why the riff I wrote originally for the guitar, is now the riff for the bass. To me the song sounds good so far, probably one of the best songs i've ever written, so I have a good feeling about it.

Hmm... i'm the mood for some Red Hot Chili Peppers!

"California rest in peace.
 Simultaneous release,
 California show your teeth.
She's my priestess i'm your priest,
 Yeah, yeah!"

Tomorrow

Woohoo, breaking up from school after tomorrow and we've got a full week off :D

I've got nothing really important to inform you guys on, I just haven't blogged since Sunday.

School's been the same, nothing interesting at home as happened and I haven't been anywhere with my mates for about a week or two.

The only productive thing i've actually done, was, I made up my own bass riff and I learned a song i've been yearning to learn for ages ( Avril Lavigne's 'Tomorrow' ), but I couldn't find the right chords... until up to now of course.

It's a brilliant song, it may not be as legendary as 'November Rain' by Guns N' Roses or 'Imagine' by John Lennon, but it's a song you listen to when you're feeling down in the dumps and it gives you motivation to move on. The lyrics are amazing and creative, yet at the same time so simple.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONLr-zweXH0   <--- Live Performance of 'Tomorrow' Warning: You may cry!

"And I wanna believe you,
When you tell me that it'll be ok,
Yeah I try to believe you,
Not today, today, today, today, today...

Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change..."
                       - 'Tomorrow' by Avril Lavigne

I wish I could post all the song lyrics because they're so amazing >.<
