Well ho-lee shit I have not blogged in a while, what has it been, like 4 months? Wow, and to add to all the excitement, it's Christmas in 8 days!!

So, as you can probably guess A LOT has happened over these past 4 months, like seriously. The band i'm in is still together (and yet, we still have no name) and we've been practising at The Bunker Rehearsal Studios like mad crazy to the point i'm almost skint, all out of money and my mam demands "No more practices until after Christmas okay!", we're also getting a gig coming up which I can't even begin to state how much i'm excited for. Although technically the gig isn't specifically for us, it's more about my mates band (High Anthem) but they asked us to come and support and play before them so it's going to be off the walls energetic!

Also, in the October I turned 16. Didn't do much big, just stayed in and had family members around the house and ate a lot of food and cake (and not to mention my cake was fucking awesome!).

School I suppose has been the same, same routine everyday, get up, changed, yell at my brother for being lazy, go to school, 'work', break, more 'work', lunch, mess around, 'work' again for 2 hours, go home, shower, pyjamas, go on my guitar or bass for a bit, sit on the laptop or go on the Xbox until 12 o'clock, sleep, and wake up again absolutely shattered. Cycle continues.

And mentioning Xbox in the paragraph above, my Xbox has fooking broke, absolutely guttered. The disk tray is completed knacked, therefore I can't read or play any CD's or game disks, the only things I can play are the downloaded games (a.k.a Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Halo 3, and quite frankly i'm getting tired of repeating playing those). This has been like this since the end of October/beginning of November, so thank the lord my Nana is getting me a new Xbox 360 for Christmas!

Once again speaking of getting new things, I also may be getting an Epiphone Thunder (out of my saved up money, of course), as much as I love my Fender Squier Precision bass, and it was an awesome first bass, I've had it for 3 year now and it's beginning to get worn out and i've realized I tend to have better ease playing on Thunderbird Bass necks then Fender Precision bass necks. Fender Precision necks are too wide for me to hit notes and having small fingers doesn't help much either (hehe) especially when playing songs that include lots of hammer ons and pull off's.

I could write much more in this blog, but there is too little on my mind, i'm sure if I remember anything, I shalll update you ;)

And, if I don't write another blog until after Christmas, or just before Christmas, here is a picture of me and my friends.

((we're cumin 2 steele ur crimbo))

Merry Christmas!

Stupid Windows 8

Let's get into the blog straight away, shall we?

So, my dad decided to download Windows 8 operating system on the laptop, to test out how good it was... and I absolutely hate it.

OKAY, it looks good on my Windows 8 phone (obviously), but on my laptop I hate it. Plus, since my laptop is only a small Packard Bell netbook, it does not have the proper resolution to run half the apps on the starting screen.

And the worst thing about it too, is that it automatically came with Internet Explorer (which I hate even more), and I couldn't stand to use it, so I downloaded Google Chrome.

Onto something a little bit different now
---
The other day (I do recall it was Sunday) I had band practice, which was the funniest practice i've ever been to in my life.

Let me elaborate.

When we first started, we had a lot of trouble with amps in the room, and tried about 3 different guitars which one of the staff brought in for us. It took us ages to try and get anything working, and it was about an hour and a half into practice, and our guitarist (who is very particular about which guitars he likes to play) went off looking for the staff to ask for another guitar (for about the 3rd time haha).

After 5 minutes of looking for him, he decided to let himself into the guitar cupboard, and heard a practice room door open and thought it was the guy. So, our guitarist popped his head around the corner, and it turns out it wasn't the staff, it was these 2 weird kids, that looked about 14/15 dressed in a gothic/emo fashion and they decided to follow him. So he panicked (he's very socially awkward, you see)... and attempted to lock himself into the guitar cupboard.

Yes, he tried to lock himself into the guitar cupboard, and obviously these 2 weird kids, both tried to open the door, and eventually succeeded. So, in a blind panic, our guitarist tried to find his way back into the practice room, but ended up going to the wrong end of the corridor, and these people kept on following him, so he panicked even more, and ended up sprinting back down the hallway, and found his way into our practice room again.

When he told us, me and our drummer laughed absolutely hysterically, and not long after, our guitarist said he was going back out to look for guitars. Anyways, the next thing we know he opens the door and here's these 2 emo/goth kids standing there STARING at us.

Just standing there, staring at us with a blank expression on their face gazing into our souls, they weren't even smiling or anything or looked the least bit amused by the whole thing. And what made it even more creepy was the fact we were in the first practice room, and to get into our practice room, you had to push open 2 heavy creaky doors. And we heard nothing, they just kinda appeared there.

The next thing we know, our guitarist jumps behind the stack of amps, and hides behind them, and fucking slams the door as hard as he possibly could, it was like a comedy scene from a movie, and we just all burst out laughing, it was the funniest thing ever.

So literally 2 seconds later he says he's going back out to look for another guitar, we open the door, and they've just completely disappeared, we didn't even hear the doors open or anything, they had just magically gone. They must have been fucking vampires or something, because we weren't even aware anyone was there... but it was all too funny, and we're still freaked out by it.

...Then, we got the amps working and it was some sort of miracle.

I could have went into way more detail to make the story interesting, but i'm lazy you see.

My mate is Tarzan.

Sunday bloody Sunday.

Did I ever mention how much I hate Sundays? Seriously, to me, it's the most boring day of the week.

It absolutely drags when you're on school holidays, but when you've got school the next day, it seems to go as fast as Speedy Gonzales on Amphetamines.

Anyways, looks like the upcoming week isn't going to be as lazy as I expected.

Tomorrow, i'm going to Beamish for the day, Tuesday i'm going to Alnwick Gardens with my family, Wednesday i'm going out with my mate and helping her book a doctors appointment, Thursday I have to go into school and collect my GCSE test results (don't worry, i'm not shitting myself) and afterwards, going to my mates house to help each other with our artwork, Friday and Saturday i'm going to at least attempt to motivate myself to learn this music composition on bass and then perform it when I go back to school (or go out with mates which I haven't done in months), and Sunday, i'm going to book a band practice, my mates have written a shitload of songs, so i'm looking forward to playing them!

Then hopefully, the last week before we go back to school, I just plan on lazing around and doing nothing but eating, sleeping, complaining, being addicted to twitter, playing video games, watching YouTube videos and playing on my guitar (which is basically what I have done for 4 weeks straight almost).

Literally, I have done nothing for 4 weeks straight, and the only time i've stepped into the outside world was to look for school shoes to buy (which ended me not getting any at all) and going to a couple of band practices (wish I could practice more, but it's expensive!).

And speaking of doing nothing or going outside, i've barely talked to any of my mates either. We haven't fallen out or anything, we just haven't talked in ages.

In fact, the only friends I have talked to are Lor, Nikita, Sarah and my band mates.

Lor was telling me how she saw The Conjuring:
(she is the light blue text, i'm the dark blue)
And me and my guitarist were discussing about broken bones and such, and got onto how he almost broke his jaw... i'm now convinced he is Tarzan:

(Blurred for his anonymity)

And that's about it for this week!

Not much to it.

This is probably going to be a short blog, but here we go anyway...

So, the other day mine and Lor's Beady Eye tickets came (which i'm absolutely BUZZING for), and my National Insurance Number came as well (which I still don't know what the fuck i'm supposed to do with) and apparently i'm supposed to keep it 'for life' and I only had it for about 2 minutes (literally) and I already spilled milk on it.

-
Got another practice to book for Tuesday again, it's going to be mint. Our new guitarist has eased up around us now and isn't so shy. I've talked to him on Xbox a couple of times and played a couple of games with him (in particular, Resident Evil) and he's hell of a good gamer... I thought I had a better gamerscore on Left 4 Dead out of all my friends, but he came along and I found out he was waaaaay ahead of me. So i've got that to look forward to!

-
Nothing interesting happened over the past couple of days except on Monday from my mate came over mine and we played Sims 3 for about 4 hours nonstop until she had to go home. Tuesday I done fuck all and lay around the house watching Criken videos on Youtube. Wednesday I had to go to the dentist (which I hate with a passion), and today the most productive thing i've done was taken the dog out on a long nice walk.

Not much to it really.

Mad fer it!

Finally, it's the six weeks holidays, six weeks of doing absolutely almost fuck all, just being lazy, moping around and eating... hell to the yeah!

I still can't believe i'm leaving Year 10 though and that this time next year i'll have completely left school and will be going onto college, it's mad, I can't get my brain around it.

Anyways, on Tuesday (or was it Monday?) I went out with Lor, and got the money for Beady Eye, and my Dad ordered them. We didn't manage to get standing tickets, but we got unreserved seating for the balcony, at least we get a good view. But, I still can't believe i'm seeing fucking Beady Eye, i'm mad fer it!... :oads of people say Liam Gallagher is a twat, and very right at times he is, but to me, he's a funny twat and I look up to him. ((equally as much as I look up to Noel of course who I yet want to see live))

Saturday was fucking hellish as well, I had band practice with my mate and our new guitarist, god bless him, he's really shy, but he had a class time and so did we! In my and my mates opinion, he's a mint guitarist, he doesn't think that himself though, but he really is, we all had a class time and we really want to get together and practice again soon. From what i've saw as well, we already get along pretty good, I mean, plus we all love Nirvana and Oasis.

Today, I went to the town with my Mam and I ordered myself a new Windows 8 phone by HTC (in blue), I can't wait until it arrives, apparently it's really good with music, and it has a 8 megapixel camera (yay).
Me and my mam also booked another appointment at the opticians, I really need new glasses, I hate mine now, i've had them since Year 9!

On Wednesday i'm getting my hair cut, and the tips of my hair dyed red (can't wait), but I think i'm more excited for my sister getting her hair cut, she desperately needs it doing, it's all over the place!

And on Thursday it's forecast for thunder, lightning and rain... as much as I love the sun and warmth, I love storms, like I absolutely LOVE them.

The week has only just started and hopefully it gets better!

Sunday, 14 July 2013

Can't believe we're already half way through the year already, before I know it, it's going to be winter again soon.

Past week has been utterly boring, I was supposed to do my works experience with the Police, but then I found out I was at 4 different places in 5 days, and basically all I was doing was filing. Boring.

So instead, people that weren't doing work experience spent the week in school doing fuck all, we didn't do any lessons (which in a way i'm glad), but we didn't do anything fun either, so we spent 6 hours in school doing nothing but sitting at a desk staring into space.

Buuuuut, I did get the Friday off school because there was no point going in, even my teachers said that.
~
Last night I went to my dad's, cousin's, daughters engagement party at Martino's (which is a beautiful Italian restaurant I must say)

Everyone there was somehow related to me, and I knew absolutely none of them, and if I did I was too young to remember, like practically a baby. Some of them were coming up to me and kissing, and hugging me saying:

"Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you since you were a baby, awh, look how much you've grown up. How old are you now? 15? Oh my lord, the time has flew by"

And i'm just going along with it smiling, thinking 'ha... do I know you?'.

It wasn't bad though, even though I just sat there surrounded by all these unknown family members, it was fun.
~

Looking forward to the upcoming week though, it's my last week of being in year 10 (woohoo!) before breaking up for the six weeks holidays, the weather is supposed to be really warm and sunny (woohoo again!) and I have a band practice coming up on Saturday with the our new guitarist and singer. I'm ecstatic!

Something is just right...

Finally, i've found something to blog about!

This past week has been awesome!

My mam has been in Spain for the past week and it was weird, everyone relies on her, and honestly I expected the house to go to hell in a hand basket without her... but it strangely didn't. My brother and sister had hardly fought, and I didn't have yell at them at all, proper weird man!

Anyways, on Tuesday I went out with my mates after school to the town, we were originally going to see World War Z because it looks mint, but it finished about 9'ish and my mate had to be home for 8 o'clock. So instead of doing that, we went and had 3 games of bowling at 10 Pin and afterwards had two games of pool, needless to say it was epic and we all had a right laugh! And I think my pool playing skills have increased a little bit!

Other than that, you know that band me and my mate are in? Well after 6 months of hard searching... we found a guitarist and possibly a singer. I'm buzzing about it! I've been talking to the new guitarist on Facebook, and he's fucking brilliant! He loves Nirvana and most of the music we're into, he has the same sense of humor as us... and best of all... he likes Resident Evil. Hands down, he's one of the coolest guys i've ever came across. He also owns a lot of guitars, and is really technical with them, whereas I don't know shit all about the technical side of instruments, I haven't even changed a guitar string in my life, the most 'technical' i've ever gotten is I removed one of my SG's tone knobs, tightened the bolt and stuck it back on because it wasn't working.

I usually don't get this feeling about people, but I think this is the right guy to play guitar for us, it's not a feeling of excitement that we've finally found someone, it's weird, I feel like I know something good will come out of this, something really good, too good for words to explain. Something just feels right about it and i'm determined to find out what it is!

Lor wanted me to update, so here goes:

(Nothing really important is going to be in the blog by the way)

So today I had band practice, which we haven't had in 2-3 weeks... and it was brilliant. Aside from the fact, half of the equipment wasn't working, and the amp I was using was absolutely shite, we still managed to get the job done.

Actually, rather than practicing (by which I mean just covering songs), I showed my band-mate some of my songs I had been writing, and he showed me what he'd been writing. And honestly, for all his songs had very simple chord structures, they were great, honestly. There was one song he showed me, and I just thought 'that is fucking great', but it was so catchy, I had to go home and record it on my computer. I recorded 2 versions, the original version he showed me (just straight up fast guitar), and another version with more rhythm/melody to it (with guitar and bass).

Onto a different subject now.

This Friday coming, my mam is going abroad to Spain with her friends for a week. She's even wrote a planned meal for what we'll have for tea everyday, i'm not joking. So let's see how that turns out, i'm pretty sure hell will break out every 5 seconds, because my brother and sister fight as if they're on Smackdown vs Raw.

My buddy Keith also wants my friend Amy and me to go bowling, and have a couple of games of pool in the town this Friday, as well as that, my mate is wondering if I want to stay back and have another band practice... oh, decisions, decisions, and while it's on my mind, he told me to go listen to 'Bleach' by Nirvana, I unfortunately have not listened to it yet....

Saturday, 8 June 2013

It's been a hectic week for me (literally).

Let's just say i've been stressed over the past few days, for reasons unknown, and it's caused me to be really bitchy to my family, especially my dad.

Well yesterday I done something quite irrational, I got in the house from school and stormed up to my room. Nobody had done or said anything to me, but I started screaming and yelling at everyone for no initial reason.

I think it was stress from not having anywhere to go in the house to cool down, chill out, my brother is really bone-idle and sharing a room with him for the time being really stresses me out because he's so untidy, disrespectful and messy, my sister has became worse behaved and screams everyday when she can't get her own way. I don't even have a place where I can go to play my guitar in peace to let my creative side flow.

I'm assuming all of that built up and I just raged and ran out of the house, I wasn't intending to run away, I just needed at least 15 minutes out the house to chill. I had to literally push my mam out the way and screamed at her just so I could get out.

Coincidentally, Kenny was at my front door about to ask for her skateboard and I just ran out (she did get her board back though :P) and I just kinda broke down, in tears, and so did my mam, but I just needed 15 minutes away. I've never seen myself so hysterical in my life and neither has Kenny. I wasn't even down the street yet and I already felt bad, and I felt like a desperately needed to apologize to my dad for being so horrible to him over the past few days, so as me and Kenny went looking for him (because he was walking our dog) she really comforted me and reassured me everything would fly over and i'd be good in no time!

Whilst I was out, my mam rang me twice and the second time she managed to convince me to come home and talk things out. So I did, and I can't thank Kenny enough for just comforting me haha, but in all seriousness I came home and just cried and apologized for my irrational behavior. Usually i'm so open with my mam I don't even know why I was stressed out but we managed to sort things out and I became friends with my dad and I feel so much better!

I regret how hastily I acted because there was no need for it, but in a way I don't because I know never to do it again, plus, I got a good part of a song outta it ;)

So lesson of the week: No matter how stressed you are, don't worry about it, keep your head up high because happiness always finds it's way in the end!

________________________________

Anyways, today was much better and I feel so much better!

I went to town with my mam and nana, got some new earrings and a new album to go towards my collection!

I got Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' album, and it's absolutely amazing, truly a work of a God, ever since I heard 'If I Had A Gun' on Youtube I knew I had to buy this album!

But I was also torn between buying Oasis and Beady Eye, they're all equally as amazing in my eyes, but for some reason I just had to go for Noel!

So, I come home and put my CD onto iTunes and put it on my iPod and put it in my room along with my other CD's!

Then I went straight to my Nana's through Seaham to see her and my Granda, then went home, got my iPod and listened to some Noel Gallagher on my way to Kenny's dad's house and met up with her and Lor there. Afterwards we headed down Ryhope, knocked on for our friend Amy and went out for a bit.

Then I came back up home at about 7, had my tea and wrote this :3

Hectic week, but yeah!

~RachLaDudette

Friday, 31 May 2013

Not much that's entertaining to write about today, but still.

So today, woke up at about 9'ish, got ready straight away in my tired state and headed straight for my Nana's who lives in Seaham. I hadn't realize that the last time we saw her was 3 weeks ago, honestly it only seemed like last week we visited her...

After that, we obviously went home and had our dinner, and because it was a beautiful day I decided to take our dog out for a short walk to the nearby park and back. Surprisingly I bumped into someone I know from Ryhope and talked for a little bit.

So, I got back home only to find out we had to go back out again with the dog to see how she is in the car. She didn't get in by herself, so my mam had to pick her up and put her in the back seat and took her for a little walk again.

And then we got home and ordered a Chinese in celebration of my mam and dad's 10th anniversary!

P.S. I should be revising right now, but I swear i'll start tomorrow!

Thursday, 30 May 2013

For me today has been a really awesome day.

As you know, about 10 months ago I lost my dog Annie, we had her for 13 year so she was quite old and had hearing problems and skin irritation, and we soon had to put her down as her eye became blood red and the vets suspected it was caused because of a bleed in her brain.

Well on Tuesday, I only found out that we're fostering a dog from a nearby animal shelter/kennel because we want to give another dog a good home and a good life, so yesterday we visited the kennel, took a look at the dog and signed forms and such and went out and bought toys, mats, food bowls and a bed for her.

So today we got her and awh she's lovely! She's an 18 month year old Lurcher called Jess, and straight after band practice today (i'll get onto that in a bit) we took her out for a walk, and she's settled in loads. She's played with her toys a bit already and wags her tails whenever she sees us, and has ate a canny lot (she's slightly underweight and we should feed her 3 times day) so that's a good sign.

Getting onto band practice now.

Once again, because my mam was unable to drop me off, I had to take the bus to the town to get to where I needed to be.

I hate taking buses, you get so many weird people on buses that sit behind you blasting their shitty rave or sit beside you and their presence annoys you. So as soon as I got on, got the closest seat to the front, I sat beside the window, put my guitar beside me so no one could sit beside me (unless of course someone needed a seat), and just plugged my headphones into my phone and listened to Oasis.

Can't say that my trip was worse than my mates though, he said all throughout his journey there was a kid that was constantly screaming on his bus and he wanted to throw it out the window haha (bit harsh?).

Anyways it was a good laugh (despite the fact £24 is a rip off for two people for 3 hours), we played lots of Oasis, Nirvana and a bit of Blink-182, and then the rest of the time we just talked about things like not being able to wait to leave school and stuff... and then had a banter about what show was better South Park or Family Guy (I say South Park is the better one).

...And then I got made fun of because i'd never actually watched Jools Holland on TV.... sorry, haha?!

I HAD A DREAM!

Not exactly a 'proper blog' but I wanted to tell you guys about the dream I had on Monday night (apart from I did go out after school today with Kenny and Lor and it was funny as fuck). It wasn't weird or anything, but I dunno I just felt the need to share it, so here goes:
________

I had a dream I was in the army (but with a twist) - but there was 4 teams: Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. We were fighting to the death to see which team would win, meaning you could survive... a bit similar to The Hunger Games but with teams.

In the teams there were about 8-10 people, however you didn't get to pick who was in your team or who you wanted to team up with, so if it meant killing your friends to survive then you had to do it, it was 'kill or be killed'.

Getting on, I was in the Red team - don't ask me why, I just was. And you could tell which person was in which team because of the the colour of the berets they wore, so if you were in the blue team, you'd have to wear a blue beret, and if you were in the yellow team, you'd have to wear a yellow beret. However, if you lost your beret or something, you'd have a Bandolier (a strap / belt across the chest that holds ammunition, hand grenades etc...) that represented what colour team you were on.

Bandolier
Our battleground was an huge (and I mean huge) abandoned hospital, along with it's grounds, once again don't ask my why, it just was. We didn't have to stick together in our groups, although it helped a lot in case you got ambushed or something, plus it really did strengthen your ability to co-operate and work in teams. Plus no one was really in charge of the teams, there was no form of official higher authority which really put teamwork to the test.

But some reason, I somehow (?) got separated from the rest of my team and ended up cautiously wandering around the top floor of the hospital and ended up finding a room that had been untouched. Literally, it looked brand new, unaffected by war as if everything had been untouched. And in the room was a massive window that looked out onto the hospital grounds and it takes up almost all the wall.

I look out the window, and see my friends battling each other as they're all on separate teams. But the weird thing is I feel no proper emotion, my mind just goes blank as i'm watching them trying to kill each other. They don't see me though, they're to busy engrossed in trying to murder each other haha. And I must stare out of this windows for a good 10 minutes, watching them trying to survive and the only thing that crosses my mind is: 'Oh well, that's life'.

Then, all of a sudden one of my other friends runs into the battlefield, but sees me looking out onto the grounds from this huge window. The thing is, he resists to shoot at me, and he does an army salute as if to "Well, it's been nice knowing you buddy" and starts battling my other mates instead of trying to shoot at me.

Then, out of nowhere one of my team mates find me and yell "We need you down here, shits going to hell in a hand basket". And I just nod my head and walk away, going off to fight.

Then I woke up.

I thought it was a pretty fucking cool dream, I dunno about you guys, but I wanted to share it :3

Monday, 13 May 2013

Oh, another blog? I'm on a roll this week.

Monday... I hate Monday's, but this Monday was alright.

Today a new girl started school, and to be honest she seems alright, i've never spoke to her or anything despite the fact she's in my form, but yeah she seems cool.

Kind of a boring day, but I felt the need to blog. In maths we learned Pythagoras Theorem, and to my surprise it was really easy, Science we learned about Earthquakes (once again surprisingly interesting), ICT was shit because we were supposed to stay in silence, PE Theory was good I suppose and English was alright.

Also, today one of my friends kicked off with me because I was ignoring her calls and texts.

Here's the thing -

I was supposed to be going to the town with her on Saturday, but I like I said in my previous blog I soon began to feel sick and such. So I text her telling her I wasn't going because I wasn't feeling up to it. She replied back soon saying 'Okay'.

The next morning (Saturday), she rang me at 9:30 in the morning and woke me up, and text me twice after that which I replied to all of them. Later on in the day, she text me again asking if I was feeling better, and I replied and tried to ring me again, in which I missed. The next day, she rang me 3 times. She rang me twice in the morning at 10 past 9 in the morning as I was sleeping and honestly I was too tired to even pick up the phone, so I ignored the calls. She wouldn't stop texting me after that and I was too annoyed to even reply back, and tried to ring me again.

So, on Monday when I went into school she got on my back and started calling me a 'bitch' and whatnot, saying I didn't understand that the more times 'I didn't answer, the more times she rang', but she didn't understand 'the more times she rang, the more times I didn't answer because she was annoying me'

And then she ended up being in a mood with my most of the day because of some silly little phone calls.

But come on people, put yourselves in my situation and my character, somebody who wouldn't talk to anybody if they had the chance to :)

That concludes my day

OH! By the way Hedley (one of the bands I really like) follows me on Twitter now! I'm fucking buzzing!

Angry Blog

Angry blog today.

Why i'm angry:

#1 For the time I have to share a room with my younger brother and he is the laziest fucking bastard i've ever came across in my entire life. Everywhere he goes he's leaves a fucking untidy mess, there's a bin in my room and he still leaves crisp packets, empty drink cartons and sweet wrappers everywhere on the fucking floor. Also, what really pisses me off is he drinks a lot of juice, like full cups and bottles full of juice and leaves it lying either on the floor or anywhere where there is space available and never tidies up.

#2 My sister is the fucking brattiest girl you may possibly meet. Everybody says she can't be horrible because she ACTS like an angel. But let me tell you, when she doesn't get her way she'll fucking scream the house down. For example, the other day she was doing homework, or looking for homework not watching TV, I pick up the TV remote and change the channel over and she screams at the top of her lungs at me and she's only 8. And adding to that, she never does what she's told, you could feel practically ill and ask her politely to stop being a nuisance, and what does she do? She only goes and be's more of a nuisance.

Honestly, as much as I love my family because they provide a roof over my head and food on the table even though we just manage to get by, they can be so fucking annoying at times.

And sometimes the people that hang around with us are fucking annoying too.

And here's why they can be annoying:

The other day I was eating my packed lunch in school, and this girl who hangs out with us can't exactly afford to pay for food at school everyday (even though there's an option to have FREE SCHOOL MEALS if you can't afford much). But that day she had a decent meal, a ham and cheese panini (or whatever it was) and a cake for desert. Anyways, I get out my amazingly amazing chocolate squares bar outta my bag and open the wrapper. And I was just about to eat it when my friend said something, and just as I replied, my 'mate' sitting beside me nicks a huge fucking chunk off the end of my bar and eats it.

You may not think of it as a big deal, but it's one of my pet peeves when people bother you for food (unless you're homeless or a really cute dog, then I feel sympathy for you)

But what a fucking prick, you don't just steal food off someone and then eat it without their permission that's so fucking bad mannered. So I turned around and said:
"What the fuck are you doing man?"
And my friend who also saw it said to her "What the hell [insert her name here] you don't just take food from people"
And she just looked at us as if we were stupid and as if she did nothing wrong.

I mean come on, this is what free school meals are for, for people that can't exactly afford food everyday. And I feel sorry for her in a way but you don't just go and steal food off people for fucks sake.

Grrr.

Angry blog over for today, now if you excuse me, i'm going to listen to 'The Masterplan' by Oasis to calm me down.

Failing music one step at a time...

Greetings.

Finally it's Saturday... thank god.

Well yesterday I had band practice after school, it was shite though. Almost all of the school's musical equipment never works, honestly, I tried two guitars, god only knows how many amps I tried to get working,  I forgot to bring my plectrums so I had to end up using shitty ones that have been cut out of thin plastic. Ugh.

Anyways, the day before that (Thursday) as you know I have double Music 1st and 2nd period, and we had to do a a mock test to see where we were at in music (which is fair to say I failed because I know NOTHING about music theory or writing music properly). And we alsogot our composition feedback... I got the equivalent to a grade F... 11/30. He said it would make a 'good rock/punk song but lacks dynamic and yadda yadda etc etc...'. To be honest, I couldn't give one shit what he grades it as, I like it so fuck him.

Back to the present day ~

Today I was supposed to be going to the town with my friend to see a movie and then go to an all you can eat Chinese restaurant afterwards (it's gotta be my favourite), but later after she texted me yesterday I suddenly had an overwhelming feeling of sickness and I became really cold, so that got cancelled.

That concludes it really.

Recording kits, Dying my hair, Sims 4 and stuff!

Time for another blog, yay.

Over the past week i've been given so much homework I can barely keep count of it, I can't even count how much English work we've had to do, we now get history homework and every week we get a mock GCSE maths test to take home. Actually, I done the maths test the day it was given when I got home (surprisingly) and I feel like i've done well, better than my last mock test I done which I got a 'H' (19/100) on.

Today is a bank holiday so we haven't been to school, and I can't even describe how amazing it feels to not go to school on a Monday partially because you get to miss out on having Maths first lesson, which is the worst!

Onto a completely different topic now ~

I've decided to save up for a £199 recording kit (recorder and audio interface) instead of a Fender Jazz Bass in metallic red. Figures as I love my music so much, i'd love to record some songs of my own and some of my band's songs in my own home, or anyway really seems as it's portable. The kit i'm saving up for is called the Zoom R8 - 8 Track Recorder and Audio Interface and it looks like this:

I'm so stoked for it!

Anyways, so excited for the six weeks holidays, first of all, who wouldn't be because it's 6 weeks off school? Second is my mam is going to let me have the tips of hair professionally dyed (or who knows, maybe my whole hair? :'D) Cherry Red and I can also get my cartilage pierced then as well! It's going to be epic and i'm  so looking forward to it!

It's been a cool week so far.

OH, AND THERE'S ALSO A SIMS 4 COMING OUT IN 2014 AND I'M SO EXCITED FOR IT! :D

Wednesday, 1 May 2013

Last time I blogged I was telling you about how I was going to see 'Walking With Dinosaurs', and let me say, it was spectacular! I may sound childish for saying that, but go ahead, judge me I don't care.

But honestly, they were so realistic it felt as if you were in a room with real Dinosaurs. The roars, the way they interacted with one another, even the way they walked and ran seemed so realistic, it was truly amazing!

Onto something else, although the week has dragged, school actually hasn't been that bad.

On Monday I went over my aunties house and my eldest cousin helped me with some of my maths, and we actually had a right laugh, I also got my head around some confusing stuff that I never really understood beforehand with easy methods she taught me. Afterwards, me and my other cousin (whose a year older than me) had a right joke on, he's actually hilarious and although we go to the same school, and see each other almost every other day we never really talk to each other, so it was cool having a catch up with him. We talked about music, and I learned some stuff about rap (that's what he listens to), and he learned some stuff about rock and punk (what I listen to).

Anyways, after that I stayed over their house till about 10 and watched the Sunderland vs Aston Villa match. Yeah we didn't do too good, our goalie didn't exactly do the best job either considering we lost 6-1, but you can't win every game (although that would be amazing). But good on Danny Rose for scoring one goal, yay....?

The next day, we have history. And the new teacher we have is canny, but I don't know how she calmly deals with my mate Keith. What he did was uncalled for, he was wandering up and down the class and the teacher asked him to sit down, and when he did she put her hand lightly on his shoulder and asked him politely to calm down.

He flipped out.

Seriously, he turned round and just flipped, he went to get his Lucozade bottle, (which bearing in mind our history lesson is based in a computer room) and the lid was loose, and it swiped from his hands, flew to the other side of the room and Lucozade went on the computer screens, on my friends backs and in my hair.I was kinda pissed off because I just washed my hair the night before, thank god I had a brush though because my hair went all sticky and got tangled into clumps, and as soon as I got home, showered again.

Also, I had science that day, on the morning and it was such an interesting lesson. We done a lesson on 'Aliens' and then another one 'The Life Cycle Of Stars'. And did you know, that the star in Orion constellation is soon to die. And when stars die, they explode. The star is too far away to impact or harm earth, but with the light from the explosion, it will turn our nights much brighter! And this could last for anywhere between 4-6 weeks my science teacher told us, and it could/most likely happen in our lifetime of being alive. It will be a once in a lifetime (literally) moment, and I bet it will look brilliant!

My last blog was 2 weeks ago, and Kenny has just put her latest blog up so I thought it's about time for me to put a blog up again.

So, i've been really getting into Oasis, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Beady Eye recently, like really.   I was already familiar with Oasis before (obviously) I mean, c'mon everybody has heard of 'Wonderwall' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger', but it's just been recently over the week i've grown a huge liking of them from nowhere... That's good though.

On another note, i'm so excited for Saturday! This may be like a 'childish' thing you're going to hear from me right now, but i'm obsessed with Dinosaurs, honestly. Ever since an early age I always had an interest in them, I also used to own Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis for PS2, Jurassic Park books and the films (speaking of films i'm really excited for the 4th installment of Jurassic Park).

- Getting back onto Saturday, i'm going to the Metro Radio Arena to see 'Walking With Dinosaurs'. What it is basically is, is 20 renowned designers have paired up with Scientists to create 20 LIFE-SIZE Dinosaurs, it sounds amazing! You get to see them fight and they're extremely realistic. I read that over 7.3 million people have seen the show, it's conducted 1,746 performances in over 206 cities, and it takes a team of 3 people (sometimes more) to operate 1 dinosaur! It honestly sounds epic, my cousin also saw it a couple of year back (and she was probably about 25) and she said it was amazing, I can't wait!

Anyways, getting onto school now our supply history teacher has (supposedly) been fired! We were supposed to have him for around 8-10 weeks... and I think we only had him for 2, maybe 3. Everybody hated him though, he was a proper dick, he called a girl in my class 'a man' when she tried to walk out of the room when he said "the girls can leave first", apparently he's also a bit a sexist. But the leading rumor is he got fired because he left my mates class un-occupied for 15 minutes and because he never taught.

So now we've got another supply teacher, and she's actually quite alright, she reasons with us, treats us nice with respect, and when teachers are nice and respectful to us, we're the same to them.

Grumpy First Impressions

I don't know if I told you guys, but our old history teacher (the amazing one) that I usually blogged about and praised, has left our school. We're all devastated, every single one of us.We knew about him leaving of course, he was just so damn hilarious it was hard not to imagine not having a history lesson with him.

My twitter conversation with my class-mate... also probably one of the smartest in the class!
Anyways our new teacher is really different, like real different and seems to have an old fashioned way of treating us, teaching us... plus he's a real grump from first impressions. For example, we waited 5-10 minutes after the bell went waiting for him to come to class, and when he did, my buddy Keith (the one who set my science work on fire, and accidentally set his own hair on fire almost etc...)  asked him "Sorry sir, what's your name?"

And he turned around and yelled:
"You will not speak to me in that manner, and don't talk to me at all, I will only speak to you if I WISH to speak to you!"

It was a 'wtf' kind of moment, because he didn't say it in a rude tone or manner, he just simply asked. He turned around and gave me a hilarious look as if to say 'what the hell is wrong with this man?'. Anyways, as I have known Keith since we were practically babies (we call each other 'Fetus Friends') so it's easy for me to tell when he's up to something, in fact, it's actually easy for anyone to figure out if he's up to something mischievous. Because the fact is he's nothing but mischievous all the time.

So, the new teacher who's name I can't remember goes to pick up the register, he picks up the wrong one and then sends round a piece of paper in which we all have to write our names on 'nice and neat'. Keith being the dangerously daring kid he is writes it all messy not giving any fucks whatever just to wind him up. The teacher didn't say anything, but when it came to actually taking the register he kicked off yelling: "You will not say 'here' when I ask your name on the register you must reply with 'yes sir!'"

And when it came to Keith's name on the register, well he yelled out in his most stupidest voice "SIR YES SIR" and even done the salute to it. He didn't say anything and just continued on with the register, and until Keith had a reaction from him, he wouldn't stop. So he kept on going, and going making hilariously stupid voices and noises (which me, Kenny or the new kid Dale couldn't stop laughing at, and I couldn't move because my sides were practically aching) anyways it comes to the point at almost 45 minutes into the lesson, the teacher finally snaps and moves Keith because he was so irritated from him.

So, as my fetus friend eventually settles down in his new seat, Kenny started giggling, stopped after a few seconds and then coughed, and what did the new teacher do? He came over and moved her to sit somewhere else, it was priceless!

Later on I had band practice and I warned Jay about him beforehand, so I when I met up with him I asked what he thought of the new teacher, and he just looked at me and purely laughed and proceeded to say he's a dick.

And that's literally everything I have to say for today, you'd be laughing your ass off if you were there!

.....aaaaaaand on a completely un-related note i'm filling out my works experience form, i'm want to work with the police (my 2nd choice if music doesn't work out for me) :D

Wednesday, 3 April 2013

Time for another blog, sorry that my blogs recently haven't been as casual as I used to post.

So, right now we're on our 2 weeks holiday off school, and unfortunately it ends this Monday (when we go back). They've been good and haven't been as boring as I expected.

Beginning of the week I went to Primrose Valley caravan site down York for week, it was good but because of the cold weather we couldn't do a lot of the things we wanted to do. But we did go to the Sea Life Centre and it was really cool, we watched the Sea Lions get fed, and had a look at Sharks and other aquatic animals, and I even stroked a Starfish! >.<

Today I went to the MetroCentre with Kenny, we got a bus, two trains there and a train back, at first it was a little confusing as neither of us have taken any trains to there before, but we figured it out (eventually). When we were there I finally bought a bag I could use for school (a Ramones bag for £26 kinda a rip off I know but I was DESPERATE for a new one) and we got some new grip tape for Kenny's skateboard from SkateShack... and her Dad ended up accidentally splitting the wood on the board. While we were at the MetroCentre we managed to bump into Iron Man and got a photo taken with him!
And no it's not a statue for those wondering! :P
We also visited JG Windows and it turns out  you can do works experience there, and i've also spotted a guitar and it's amazing for just less than £200! An Epiphone Les Paul in black!

But that's the problem i'll have 4 electric guitars if I buy this one... but 1 bass. And though I love playing guitar i'm primarily a bass player, once we get a vocalist and possibly another guitar player for the band i'm in (unless the vocalist plays guitar as well) i'll move on as the bassist for the band because bass is my calling! :3 but it's a hard decision (despite the fact everyone I know says "buy a bass!" :L)

Anyways, onto something different now...

During the week my friend wants to meet up with me because she wants to do some busking in the town and wants me to play guitar while she sings, awesome, it's a great way to let people know her talent and could even get my band recognized!

Speaking of my band, we finally have our first proper band practice tomorrow at The Bunker instead of practicing in school. It's going to be awesome, hopefully everyone can get there, the more the merrier!

Saturday, 16 March 2013

It's 10:47, it's Saturday night, i'm watching South Park and eating food, it can't get any better than this? (Although I could be out partying if I had friends).

Today has been a good week, all throughout this week we've had no lessons at all because we were all doing an employability course. It may sound boring, but it was actually really fun, and we all passed (meaning we all got an B, that contributes towards our GCSE's).

Tuesday was good also (kinda) because aside from not having lessons we got sent home early, this is because one of the school's water pipes got accidentally drilled into and burst, meaning we got sent home. Originally I was going to practice with my band, but because of the closure it wasn't possible, so I just went out with my friends instead.

And here is the highlight of Tuesday:... - I fell over the top of a scooter, because I was going down a bank, and accidentally hit the front brake, which resulted in me removing skin off my hand, mild grazes on my elbow and only just the other day I noticed holes in my jumper. But that's not the best bit, I almost fainted too. No, I did NOT hit my head, and no i'm NOT afraid of blood, but apparently I went into shock and began to feel dizzy, my eyes couldn't focus, I got really disorientated (I couldn't co-ordinate when walking), I felt sick and could hear a high-pitch noise, went really pale, I was ready to close my eyes... and then almost fainted... even though I didn't.

The funny thing is, I almost passed out in a health center... in which nobody came to ask if I was even alright and instead got yelled at when we were in the toilets trying to get water to clean the blood off my elbow. Good thing my friends helped me, actually, when I came around we were all kinda laughing about it (though my mam who came to pick me up was petrified).

Wednesday, nothing much happened, and on Thursday I done a workshop with The Young Americans, but I couldn't do the proper rehearsals and dropped out altogether because it was too much hassle for my mam to drive to the Metro Radio Arena twice a day, and then back.  On Friday, the last day of the course, we finished up our work and then our awesome teacher/mentor/dude went out and bought The Expendebles 2 and a shitload of sweets for us, he was also Scottish and absolutely hilarious.

And then that leads to the Saturday, all I did today was go through my Nana's and Granda's house to see them, then went to Byron's Place (a very small shopping center), come back, got my eyebrows done, watched tv until I wrote this up.

Yup, it's been a good week.

Saturday, 9 March 2013

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, it's almost been a month, whoa.

Just last weekend I moved into a new house so everything's been a bit hectic and as well as i've had no proper internet connection, so I haven't been able to access anything, unless I went on my mobile but unfortunately that costs money for me.

But anyways, i'm back, so here's how things have been going:

School has been decent recently (for me at least), i've had multiple band practices with Jay (which have been insanely hilarious, one time Jay threw a pair of drumsticks at our friend Max because he was interrupting us recording constantly, and the drumsticks hit him in the balls), and we've got a dude that can play guitar for our band, he's actually a friend of Jay's, and he says he likes stuff like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles etc... i've seen him around school a few times, but i've never really spoke to him, he seems cool though :3

Today I went to the town with my friend Nikita to buy something for our mams for Mother's Day, and while we were there, I ended up getting a large McDonalds meal and Nirvana's 'In Uteros' album. (Speaking of albums, I put all 28 of my CD's back onto my computer onto iTunes because my Dad completely wiped the computer, I spent 3 hours transferring them all, worth it though). And tomorrow for Mother's Day i'm going out with my family, and my cousins, Aunt and Uncle and others for a meal :D

And also, I can't wait to get back to school? Surely that's a weird thing to say, but all of our year are doing this employ-ability course, which means no lessons all week at all, plus you get a B GCSE at the end of it, so  it's going to be awe-some, and apparently it's canny fun as well.

That's whats been going on so far...

Broken Finger Shenanigans.

So I haven't blogged in ages, so I thought it was about time to do an update.

Well, tomorrow i'm at school (again), we've had a weeks holiday off, which consisted of nothing but late nights, long lie-ins, eating masses amounts food and going out with friends.

I also broke my finger. Yup, first day of the week off and I broke my pinky finger on my right hand. Want to know how I done it? I punched my dad. We were play fighting, and he was mocking the shirt I was wearing, so I went to hit the top of his arm, but as he was walking his arm moved and I punched his elbow. At first my  parents were like "Oh don't worry, i'm sure it'll be fine" but it wasn't I couldn't bend it, or pick things up and it was hurting like hell (then it eventually went numb) so we got it checked a day later, got an x-ray and found out it was broken. I'm quite chuffed in a sense because i've never broke anything before, so it's a record been broken.

It sucks though because it feels weird when I write, because i'm so used to my pinky resting on a surface when I write, but I can't because I have this mallet splint on my finger which prevents me from resting my hand. Also, I can't open bottles, hold things with my right hand properly. I actually thought I wouldn't be able to play my guitar properly, but I can play it better than I expected I just can't palm mute or hold the plectrum (or pick) with a good grip, other than that it's all gooooood :D

Other than breaking my finger, i've occasionally been out with my friends, which has been a good laugh too, and I also slept over Lor's house which was also a hilarious time as well, we watched 'Stir Crazy', 'Silent Hill 2', 'Salt' (with Angelina Jolie) and a bit of 'Hanna'. We ate food almost all night, had pizza, M&M's, cheese balls etc, it was awesome!

And that was my week!

Tuesday, 12 February 2013

So it's Tuesday, Pancake Day at last! Practiced after school with Jay from 3 till 4 and it was really fun, my buddy Max also came along and listened to us and just had a good time.

We played Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom and a small section of Polly (all by Nirvana) and I also played Jay a few things of my own that I created, and as I was playing he joined in with some random drum beats he made up on the spot, and it actually sounded really good.

I also had to give Max a lesson in music because he said he didn't know who Simple Plan, Sum 41 or Blink-182 were so I gave him my iPod to listen to ha, but at least he knew who Nirvana were so that's alright, i'm satisfied with that :P

But they had to stay half an hour (for some reason?) after school while I could go home and get in my nice cozy house quicker :')

That's my day!

"He's the one that likes,
All our pretty songs and he.
Likes to sing along and he,
Likes to shoot his gun.
But he knows not what it means,
Knows not what it means.
When I say yeah."

Wednesday, 6 February 2013

So far it's been a good week, since last Friday every night i've been out practicing and improving my skating,  yeah, that's right I finally got a board, it was Lor's old board actually, and it's mine until I buy the darkstar i'm saving up for :)

Lor's is the white darkstar, my board is the middle one (apparently an old Alien) and Kenny's is the end Tony Hawk board.

Actually, over the past few days we've been going into the nearby skatepark as it's getting dark, so we can practice when no ones around. I know i'm not very good, but we decided to walk around a few of the ramps, and I thought to myself 'hey, here's a measly little ramp, i'll have a go at going down it'. There was actually a few little kids on their scooters there, and I told them I was shit, so if I fell they could laugh because it would be funny. Turns out that measly little ramp was almost the death of me (not literally). Instead of leaning forward on my board, I leaned backwards and obviously fell backwards and fell flat on my back, bearing in mind the hard concrete floor made it 10x worse. But it was absolutely hilarious, honestly, although I couldn't move properly for about 2 hours, it was worth it.

Also, the day after that, we went to the skatepark again and this little kid riding a scooter questioned my skills. This is how the conversation went.

Him: Can you skate good?
Me: I'm only just beginning.
Him: Can you do kickflips?
Me: No, i've literally just been skating for under a week.
Him: Can you do ollies?
Me: No, (obviously if I can't do kickflips I can't do ollies)
Him: Can you even skate?
Me: Yeah.

I then get on my board, and show myself up by falling off because I pushed off too hard. Later on when we left, this little kid, once again started being a dick insulting how shit I was (which I already know, haha!). So me and Lor turned around and fucking owned up. Seriously though, unless you're a natural, it takes a while to properly get confident on a skateboard whereabouts on a scooter you're already good at it because you have support with a handle, unlike a skateboard where it just... well a board.

This was also the day Jay asked me if I wanted to create a band with him and I was literally taken back, I was absolutely speechless but i'm freaking excited now! So sometime next week we might stay behind and practice. It's going to be helish!

And that's been my week so far!

But also there's supposed to be this new kid joining tomorrow and my mate Keith has to show him around! :D woo new fwend.

Thursday, 31 January 2013

I probably wouldn't have wrote this blog until the weekend if I hadn't of urged myself to update.

Yesterday my brother got into a fight... Yes, my 11 year old brother got into a fight. He's only been at the school for 4 month, and already he has had his first year 7 fight. He isn't the type of kid that is a trouble maker, he is just extremely clumsy.

What happened was, he was waiting to go into his textiles lesson, and playfully tapped this lad on the top of his head, the boy started pushing him, and as my brother shoved him back he accidentally clipped this other lad on his face. So this 2nd boy he mistakenly hit, started punching him, and then punched him in the neck twice, which is really fucking stupid because if you punch someone in the throat you can cause the victim to stop breathing and probably end up dying without fast medical help.

Thankfully my brother was okay, however I think it's extremely fucking irresponsible of the school to not ring my mam or dad, considering my brother may have Autism (which is classed as a disorder) and can't see how little mistakes of being careless can lead to something life-threatening, it's just the way he is. And it's also stupid how people make fun of him for being the way he is as if he purposely acts immature, and don't know that he has a hard time keeping his concentration and being serious about serious things. Which is why I have to keep an eye on him and sometimes and make sure he is okay, which I sometimes get made fun out of for.

Phew, now that that's over and done with, let's get onto something a little different.

Well, today I had double music, which we done practical that I enjoyed as always, we had a supply teacher for ancient history, and I had maths revision for an hour at the end of the day.

I'm not sure if I already raged about revision in a previous blog, but either way I went... for 30 minutes. This was because as I made my way into class the fire alarm went off, so we all had the leave the building and wait for the fire engines to come check out the entire school (the staff room probably burnt toast again like always) and give it the all clear. Which took about 20 minutes and I was over the moon with because I really didn't want to go and then I had to leave 10 minutes early because I had a dentist appointment (which they say my teeth are perfect :D)

What can I say, I think I must carry a lucky charm or something?... or maybe Aliens?

Monday, 28 January 2013

So, Lor wanted me to blog (or seemed like it), so here you go.

Friday, I went to Lauren's house for an early birthday gathering and I really enjoyed it. The 'party' was hat themed, so everybody hat to come wearing a hat, I wore my beanie, Lor wore an Australian hat, Lauren wore on of her 'angry hats'.

Just to fill you in on the creation 'angry hat':

Last year we were doing a workshop with the Young Americans (search it up if you don't know what it is) and at the end of this three day workshop we were going to do a performance. So as we were sitting around waiting for everybody to set up, our friend Lauren who was sitting two rows in front of us, started yelling at a girl because she was constantly kicking her chair. She eventually began to get really angry, and turned around and once again yelled, but only this time her hat fell off. Me and Lor were laughing our heads heads off, and soon came up with the phrase 'angry hat'. Now whenever Lauren starts losing her cool, we just say 'angry hat' to her to reflect this hilarious moment.

Today, nothing much interesting happened, aside from the fact I was sitting at a dinner table with my friends and this proper fight between Year 9 kids on the table behind us broke out, and they knocked into us as were we eating our dinner, one of them accidentally missed the other one, and punched the back of Kenny's head. Then the whole hall went silent and stood up to watch the fight, then the teachers soon came and broke it all up.

Then after school I had to go to the doctors about my spots on my forehead, my appointment was at 5, there were only a few people in the waiting room yet we had to wait 50 minutes before I had actually gotten seen to. I have to take a course of antibiotics and also a nasal spray for my nose (i've had a blocked nostril for about 2 years now) and then I came home, had my tea and started writing this.

And that's all for today :)

Saturday, 19 January 2013

Ouch!

Short blog today guys.

So tonight we stayed back after school (again) to re-record; for the 3rd time now, 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', this time we wanted a bass to be recorded in it because the guitar and drums sounded bare without it.

So we got everything set up; drums, electric guitar, microphones, amps and the iPads ready to record. I attached the guitar strap to the guitar, slung it over my shoulders, played one chord and the freaking guitar strap snapped and the stock of the guitar hit my arm that I had my injection in and it absolutely fucking hurt like hell... this happened twice.

Jay and Kenny were absolutely laughing their heads off, and even though I was in excruciating pain, I saw the funny side of it too.

Sorry, but like I said, short blog today guys.

Injections and Practice.

I stayed back tonight after school with Kenny and Jay to re-record our GCSE piece, 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' because Jay thought he played drums terrible on our first recording, even though he played fine. We were originally going to play and record at dinner, but none of the teachers would 'supervise' us because they didn't believe us when we said our music teacher would let us practice.

Anyways, before all of that even happened, we had to have our Tetanus (and 2 other illness') injections, but it was all 3 vaccines in one. I'll be honest I got extremely nervous and panicked a little, and when I panic, I laugh, so I was like:

"Ha, there's absolutely no way i'm getting that, hahaha, if you're not getting yours today i'm not getting mine at all, ha, hah" - Me to my friend Amy.

And it didn't help that Kenny, Jay, Adam and Joe were teasing me, and my friend Lauren (who also cried bless). And Jay saying "The needle is absolutely massive and the nurses will just jab it right into you without sympathy, and because you're so skinny it's going to go right through to your bone ha!" I would have knocked his head off his fucking shoulders if he said that once more, I will admit though, seeing myself get this nervous was funny in a way, because I knew it would only feel like a little pinch (which it did) but for some reason I overlooked what it would be actually like, but just the though of a sharp object pushing through into the layers of my skin just made me freak.

But the nurse I had was really kind and could see I was nervous, and honestly everything she explained was true, that the injection would last under 3 seconds and it would only feel like a pinch (even for people with a low pain tolerance level). But 2 of my friends (Keith and Joe) said they got a nurse that just quickly jabbed them in the arm unexpectedly and gave them a shock, lol whey.

But now my arm aches, feels numb and heavy which apparently it will tomorrow, but, that will not stop me from guitar playing, in fact, i'm holding my guitar right now :)

Aaaaand that was my day!

Pitch Perfect

So, guess what I have just went to see?

'Pitch Perfect'! Yeah, I went with my friends Amy and Keith, the arrangements were kind of last minute but it all worked out :D

It's a musical-comedy film, I'm not really into musicals because they're cheesy, but I thought this one was hilarious.

And to be honest, that's all i've really got to blog about, it's been a very boring week D:

OH WAIT, WHERE I LIVE IS COVERED IN SNOW, SO WE ALL HAD EPIC SNOWBALL FIGHTS IN SCHOOL... AGAIN! :D

Hehe.

Holiday, Hippies and Hedley.

So guys, it's Sunday today and once again, like every other weekend I get woken up from the sounds of my younger brother and sister screaming at each other, my mam yelling at them for not behaving and so on. (And no, I haven't just woken up).

But anyways, my mam has booked us a holiday (more like a getaway actually) on the 25th of March to go to Primrose Valley for about 4 days I think. I went there when I was little with my Mam, Brother, Auntie, Cousin and my Cousin's friend. I think at the time my brother was 2, meaning I would have been 5-6, and my cousin and his friend would have been 8-9 years old. But this time, it's just me, my Brother, Mam, Dad and Sister, and we're going 4 days after my Mam's 40th birthday and my Nana's 65th (which is on the 21st March, same as Deryck Whibley from Sum 41's!).

*won't actually be wearing this*

In fact, my Mam and Nana (plus my Nana's sister, my Great Auntie whose birthday is on the 23rd of March, she'll be 60) are having joint disco party in a nearby club, and it's fancy dress. The theme is the '70's' so everybody will probably be dressed up as hippies or just in 70's fashion, y'know, with the huge curled hair, flared pants and vibrant coloured clothing. Which reminds me, I still haven't got my outfit sorted :O

Getting onto something else now, i've started listening to an old favourite band I haven't heard in about 2 years, Hedley. I haven't heard their latest album 'Storms' yet so I decided to listen to it and boy, since the last time I listened to them, they've changed, a lot. They're more pop/pop-rock now, than hard pop-punk/rock like they were before, but this isn't necessarily bad though, they still use guitars (acoustic and electric), drums and electric bass in their songs, they've just used synthesizers/textures on most of their songs (hopefully from piano and not computer), and songs where you can hear guitar clearly isn't distorted. So all in all I much prefer their older heavier stuff. But y'know they have grown up, so things will change musically yet nevertheless they're still absolutely amazing live and do many acoustic performances.`

And that's all i've got to blog about :P

P.S. I think it's time for a new username on Twitter, but i'm unsure what, you guys got any ideas?

*song quote time*

"3,2,1 It's the final meltdown I want out now
I wish I would've known to doubt you
I'm better off alone without you
3,2, It's the same old story, love gets gory
Why'd you have to go and change things?
Now touching you is such a strange thing"

And the school kick starts again.

Just started school again on Tuesday after having 2 weeks of holidays, so I thought i'd blog again :)

First day back wasn't that bad actually, despite the fact I was given a detention for not completing my homework (though I actually tried) and I was supposed to do it tonight but I got let off, yay :D

Anyways, as you know, my friends and I want to go to California and go on a road trip when we're older, however, one friend of mine doesn't want to go. And that's okay, but damn we had so much in store for her, like pulling hilarious pranks on her. She actually had a go at us when we asked if she changed her mind and said that this whole thing is stupid and it will probably never happen, that we'll completely forget about it and that we need to grow up and get a life.

But let's just rewind today back shall we?

Earlier, coming out of RE on our way to dinner, this lad standing that had just came out of our RE class, made a creepy face at my friend, so, she decided to yell "Rachel, protect me"and doing so grabbed me, and hid behind me. So, in my defense, I nudged her off me with my elbow (or at least what seemed like a nudge) and she yelled again "Ow, that really hurt, why'd you do that"? I didn't realize how hard I elbowed her, to be honest I didn't know that I even hurt her in the first place. All my friends, know for a fact that I don't like people in my personal space without my permission, which is why I don't give hugs, instead I just do the knuckle-respect-thing every time I greet them, agree with them and when I say bye. And she knows that better than anyone else. Anyways, after I 'hurt' her, she started pushing me, and consistently poking at me then afterwards laughing about it, making it obvious she was attempting to annoy me. Which pissed me off.

Please don't take this the wrong way, audience, i'm not talking behind her back, she knows I have a blog, it just kinda pisses me off when people are hypocritical.

Also, considering we wanted to save up more money, Lor and Me decided we could try and get jobs as Dog Walkers. Walking people's dogs that are incapable of doing it, busy or just plain lazy, for a fee of course :) so excited about that :D

And I think that's all i've got to write about now :)

Californication

School tomorrow :'(

But despite the fact we have school tomorrow, i've got something exciting to share. It won't be happening any time soon, buuuuut...

When me and my friends are 21, we're planning to go to America! But not just for any old holiday, we're planning to do a few weeks of road-tripping, and then the rest staying in California (probably San Francisco or Los Angeles) :D

Actually, we went out to the town and bought a map of the United States and planned out our route. And when I brought it home in the car, my mam started to get "angry" at me for wasting my money (though me, Kenny and Lor chipped in). She then proceeded to go in the house, tell my dad, they both started laughing, and then they both started singing 'Kids In America' to me.

It's a good thing i'm not easily offended otherwise I would have went all Hong Kong Phoey on their asses.

Basically, it all started out from a picture Lor posted on twitter:

And then I thought, 'hey that actually would be cool', and I started thinking about how awesome it would be if it actually happened! And so now, we've told all our friends and they say they're totally in on it (well, one is unsure)!

You would call me and Lor, the 'main organizers' as basically we've wrote down essentials and things we'll need, we've looked at hotels, travel buses we could rent, and we've written down a method for saving up money.

Basically, our method is:

There's 7 people in total that say they are going. Our plan is, every week, to each save £1 for 6-7 years:

1 year = £52
6-7 years = £312 - £364

Now, if each of us have £312 - £364 each. We would multiply, £364 by 7 people. Which means, in total we would have a rough amount of £2548, and that's just by the time we're 21. And of course, we would all have part-time or hopefully full-time jobs by then, which some of our pay will contribute, and even the pocket money and birthday money we get now will.

And that is our plan! >:D

Hopefully it works, Lor says it will without a doubt!
